(Fluid Bed Roasting)
(Whole Beans).
(Pulse Pours):
(Blooming) -
(Iced V60 / Japanese Style)
(Blooming)
Description:
From the fertile lands of El Salvador, this specialty coffee embodies the magnificent agricultural legacy of Central America. Grown at high altitudes reaching 1,800 meters above sea level in nutrient-rich volcanic soil, these beans develop exceptional purity and unique characteristics shaped by their pristine mountain terroir.
Unique Bean Profile: This micro-lot brings together meticulous agricultural care and remarkable sensory traits: Varietal:Bourbon – One of the most historically significant varietals that shaped the genetic identity of specialty coffee worldwide, renowned for its inherent sweetness and unique balance. Flavor Notes: This coffee delivers a rich, harmonious tasting experience featuring sweet notes of Hazelnut, and vibrant Red Grapes. It features a Medium Acidity and a Medium To Full Body.

The Bean's Journey:
Culture Meets Politics: The roots of the Bourbon varietal trace back to Bourbon Island (now Réunion Island in the Indian Ocean), standing as one of the fundamental heirlooms that established global coffee culture. Introduced to El Salvador in the mid-19th century, the country preserved these historic beans thanks to its fertile volcanic terrain and traditional farming practices. While many global regions transitioned to higher-yielding modern hybrids, El Salvador steadfastly maintained its original Bourbon trees. By employing the traditional natural sun-drying process, local producers honor agricultural heritage, intensifying the bean's inherent sweetness and highlighting notes of hazelnut and red grapes, proving that embracing one's roots creates a truly exceptional specialty coffee experience.
